Deacon Bill Warren

Deacon Bill served as the vicar to the
Charismatics in the Oakland Diocese from 1979 to 1991. He also served as
President for the seven "Northern California Diocesan Catholic
Charismatic Liaisons". Bill is used powerfully in gifts of healing, the
word of knowledge, teaching, how to live a "Spirit Filled life" and the
"Healing Power of Jesus". He is well known as a conference speaker as
well as retreat master. Bill is president of "His Most Powerful Word
Ministries" a ministry of preaching, evangelization and healing. Bill is
one of the founders of the Charismatic Bible Institute of the West
(CBIW), where he has taught for the last 26 years. Bill has ministered
in Russia
and has also led Bible Teaching Tours in the Holy Lands. He has spoken
at the Southern California Renewal Conference, the Northern California
Conference, the South Western Charismatic Conference in
New Mexico as well leading healing services
through out the United States. |
Rev. James Nisbet

Father Nisbet has been with CBIW since inception in 1981. His teaching
and humor has given us new insights to the scriptures. Father Jim is
pastor of St.Joseph parish in Spreckles, CA. and has served as the
Bishop's Liaison to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Monterey
Diocese.
Father
Nisbet became involved in the Charismatic Renewal as a seminary student
in 1967. Ordained in 1969, he has been active with charismatic prayer
groups in each of his parish assignments, either with an existing group
or in the founding of a new group. Almost always, his role has centered
on extensive teaching of scripture. In addition to his seminary
training, he has studied at the University of Ottawa and
the Graduate Theological Union in
Berkeley, Ca. Father Nisbet has
traveled and studied extensively in the Holy Land and the Middle East.
He immerses himself in the Word and through his perspective as a
silkscreen artist, he sees the Bible as a book of visions, opening new
understanding for all. |
Rev.
Bill Adams
Father Adams is the Spiritual director of
“Follow Me Ministries”, a television production ministry in Huntington Beach,
California. Fr. Bill
also is busy ministering at parish missions throughout the U.S.
and abroad. In the past he served as the Provincial of the Redemptorist
Order,
Western
Province. He
served as president of the Southern California Renewal Communities in
the Los Angeles Archdiocese.
Fr. Bill
was ordained in 1963 and has been active in the Charismatic Renewal
since 1972. For several years, he ministered at Holy
Redeemer
Center
in Oakland,
Ca. and was director of the Center's
Bible
School.
Father Bill is ministering with a Christian TV production Co. in the Los
Angeles area. Father Adams
completed his scripture studies at the Graduate Theological Union in
Berkeley, Ca. It is in the area of scripture studies that he finds the
most enjoyment. Father Bill has lead tours to Medugorje and also is part
of our CBIW tours to
Israel and Rome.

Mrs. Julie (Maginnis) Reggiardo

Julie’s father,
Bill Maginnis, was the one who first got her involved in ministering to
others. While still in High School, Julie taught charismatic youth
groups in Oakland
and Walnut Creek.
She attended
Rhema
Bible
Training
Center,
where she graduated as a minister and then went on to college. While
pursuing her degree part time, she worked full time in ministry with her
father. She has taught scripture, led prayer meetings and healing
meetings, given retreats and spoken at interfaith conferences, for
Aglow, Women of the Word, Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship, and
other ministry organizations.
Julie began her own ministry, Vessels
for Honor, after the death of her father in 1994. She and her colleague,
Beth Fredricksen co-founded a ministry for women, named Women Arise.
Julie has a Master’s degree in
Sociology, with an emphasis on social psychology. She married later in
life, and now devotes time to both ministry and raising her two sons.

Deacon Ed Spano

Deacon
Ed has spent the majority of his professional career in sales
management in the food service industry. He gave his life to Christ over
26 years ago and studied under Bill Maginnis, and then became part of
Bill’s ministry as a bible study teacher. Ed was ordained a Permanent
Deacon in the Oakland Diocese on October 21, 2000 and serves at
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in
Brentwood,
CA.
Ed
has been attending CBIW for 26 years and has been teaching for 13 years.
After being involved with Crown Financial Ministries in small group
studies, Ed became a “Journey to Financial Freedom” seminar instructor
in 2004. He is now available to give these seminars to Catholic Churches
through out the West.
Ed is married to
Teri Spano, they have a son Jason who is a police officer. Ed is also
ministering as a Law Enforcement Chaplain with the Sacrameno Law
Enforcement Chaplaincy, and is a Police Chaplain with the Brentwood
Police Department. |
Pastor Julie Sawyer

Rev.
Julie Sawyer is a full time
Pastor
at Westside Assembly church in Lodi CA, where she is
responsible for all Healing Ministry. She and her husband Sterling
met here at CBIW 26 yrs. ago and it changed both their lives. Julie has
spoken at the “Northern California Charismatic Women’s Conference”. She
is a speaker at days of reflections, women’s retreats and prayer groups.
She has been a regular at CBlW for the last 26yrs. and has been a
speaker for the last 9 yrs. Julie is used powerfully in the gifts of
prophecy, exhortation and healing. She is also a co-leader of “Mighty
Host of Women Ministries.”
Julie is vice president of “His Most Powerful Word Ministries”.
